How It Makes "Sense" to Increase Membership
Ways the Zonta Club of Findlay, Ohio reminded members of membership goals.

The Zonta Club of Findlay, Ohio will be celebrating their 50th anniversary in May of 2009. In the fall of 2007, membership in the Findlay club was approximately 33 members. The club came up with a membership goal for their anniversary of "50 members for our 50th year." They decided to appeal to their current members' “senses.” At each meeting, members would receive a tickler to encourage them to talk to prospective members and invite them to a meeting. They appealed to the five senses shared by all: sight, sound, smell, taste and touch.
